project 'butterfly elf' part 5: Boots 1 of 2

This 'how it was done' has been pretty popular on all of the forums I've posted it on, so since she's now on every doll related forum I visit, I figured, what the hell, maybe you guys would enjoy it too.
The doll is a Planetdoll Roseanne head on (a male to female) Planetdoll Dandy body.

I'll be posting the boots in 2 parts plus a handy sketch of how it was done that I made when I was told my photos were a little confusing- I'm not too good at this documenting progress thing. ^^'
